Glean & Gather is an initiative dedicated to reducing food waste, promoting backyard gardening, and fighting hunger by harvesting surplus produce from local citizens and dispersing to neighbors in need.

Many homes in our coastal community have fruit trees and gardens that yield more than their owners can use. Instead of letting this bounty go to waste, our team of passionate volunteers steps in to “glean” these fresh, nutritious foods and “gather” them for redistribution to food-insecure families and local food banks.

This initiative is another bridge we are building in our community, connecting neighbors and supporting each other!
